Affordable Art Fair, established since 1999, features artworks by living, contemporary artists.
Affordable Art Fair ，由冉维尔(Will Ramsay) 于1999年创办，专注于让大众体会欣赏和收藏艺术品的乐趣，力求将艺术品融入每个家庭，以其轻松、有趣且易于理解的艺术欣赏方式彻底改变了艺术市场。Affordable Art Fair是一个全球品牌，每年在全球13个城市举办16场展会，包括伦敦、布鲁塞尔、纽约、斯德哥尔摩、阿姆斯特丹、汉堡、新加坡、香港和墨尔本。
The Affordable Art Fair, founded by Will Ramsay in 1999, focuses on allowing the general public to experience the joy of appreciating and collecting artworks, striving to integrate art into every household. It has completely changed the art market with its relaxed, interesting, and easy-to-understand way of appreciating art. The Affordable Art Fair is a global brand, organizing 16 exhibitions in 13 cities worldwide every year, including London, Brussels, New York, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Melbourne.

在本次展览中，杜海军《城市镜像》(City in the mirror)以及《城市地铁》(Urban Subway) 系列作品以创新性的铝板材质为画布，在镜像的平面上重构了当代都市景观——金属的光泽折射出地铁上拥挤的行人，窗框和色彩共同建构成的几何光影则生动地还原了摩天大厦的庞大身影。展台上开合的“书本”装置 《香港之窗》（The Hong Kong Window） 更是吸引观展者纷纷驻足，或是细细观赏艺术家刻画的任务细节，或是尝试从不同角度捕捉自己在作品中的清晰倒影，人们在移动与观察中似乎见证了现代城市图景的无限裂变与重组，这种材质与主题的完美碰撞，引发了人们对城市空间叙事的新思考。
In this exhibition, Du Haijun's ‘City in the Mirror’ and ‘Urban Subway’ series of works use the innovative material of aluminium as, reconstructing the contemporary urban landscape on a mirror-like plate - the luster of the metal reflects the crowded pedestrians on the underground, while the geometric light and shadow of the window frames and the colours build up together to vividly recreate the sprawling figures of skyscrapers. The opening and closing of the ‘book’ installation on the exhibition platform also attracts visitors to stop and watch the details of the artist's tasks, or try to capture their own clear reflections in the works from different angles, people seem to witness the infinite fission and reorganisation of the modern cityscape as they move and observe, a perfect collision of material and theme that provokes people to think about the narrative of the urban space. 与此同时，首次参与Affordable Art Fair的艺术家韩博、曾朴以及胡昤的作品也受到了观众的喜爱，无论是韩博运用具有异域风格的马赛克纹路所描绘的寻常事物，还是曾朴在强烈色彩对比下塑造出的独特肖像，以及胡昤用充满立体感的综合媒材堆叠出的“时光书写”的痕迹，都各自表达出浓烈、张扬而又别具一格的个人特色，为大家留下了十分深刻的印象。
Meanwhile, the works of artists Han Bo, Zeng Pu and Hu Ling, who are participating in Affordable Art Fair for the first time, are also loved by the audience. Whether it is Han Bo's exotic mosaic patterns depicting ordinary things from our daily life, or Zeng Pu's unique portraits under the strong contrast of colours, or Hu's three-dimensional mixed-media stacked ‘Time Writing’ works, they are not easy to find and can be seen by the audience. The traces of ‘time writing’ by Zeng Park, and Hu's mixed media stacked with a three-dimensional sense, all of them expressed their strong, open and unique personal characteristics, leaving a deep impression on everyone.

Looking back on Nancy’s Gallery's participation in Affordable Art Fair, each appearance is a valuable opportunity to meet and communicate with friends, collectors and art lovers. This year's AAF also witnessed a brand new breakthrough for Nancy’s Gallery. We deeply feel the passionate support of the global collectors of art, this power like a star to guide the way forward, but also inspire our contemporary infinite possibilities. Every collision of ideas is expanding the dimensions of art dissemination, and the sparks of inspiration that emerge from those sincere dialogues will eventually precipitate into the cornerstone of future innovation.
Nancy’s Gallery has always recognised and responded to the Affordable Art Fair's core concept of ‘Dare to Appreciate - Dare to Collect’. We will continue to discover artists with both cultural thickness and contemporary vision, and through the global exhibition platform, bring diversified art practices into more families.
