Sun Chenyi

In 2015, Sun Chenyi obtained a B.F.A. degree in painting from Fudan University Shanghai Institute of Visual Art. In 2018, he got a M.F.A. degree in painting from Savannah College of Art and Design. He also awarded the Graduate Achievement Scholarship, the Academic Honors Scholarship, and the JoshYu Painting Scholarship. After that, in 2022, Chenyi joined in the artist-in-residency in the Swatch Art Peace Hotel. Also he joined the artist residency program at TSINGPU Wulin Retreat in 2023. He has held many solo exhibitions both domestically and internationally, as well as participated in various group ar t exhibitions. For now, he is still working on his art career, and his studio is based in Shanghai, China. 2022 to now, Chenyi as an art teacher and artistic adviser, and serving for the Shanghai Cao Peng Charity Foundation. He is trying to use art to heal autistic children. He was named one of 2024 Forbes China Out-standing Overseas Returnees.
