Feng Xiaorui

Feng Xiaorui, male, was born in 1973 in Fengshun County, Guangdong Province. In 1985, he moved to Shenzhen with his parents. He is the vice president of the Shenzhen Young Artists Association, a member of the Education Committee of the Shenzhen Artists Association, and the deputy curator of Luohu Art Museum. He is one of the earliest artists and curators in Shenzhen.In 2000, he curated and participated in the earliest local contemporary art exhibition in Shenzhen's contemporary history, Close to the Moon, which caused a sensation in the Shenzhen art circle and had a profound impact on the development of Shenzhen's contemporary art.

In the later period, while working at Luohu Art Museum, he curated important exhibitions in Shenzhen for some of China's earliest avant - garde artists such as Tang Song and Zhao Shaoruo.In 2020, he vigorously promoted the Chinese exhibition The Hakka Enclosed House at the Venice Architecture Biennale in Italy and served as the producer. During this period, he participated in important group exhibitions at home and abroad, such as the Shenzhen Biennale, the Italian "East Meets West" China - Italy Contemporary Art Exhibition, the "Isomorphism" China - Europe Touring Exhibition, and the "Questioning" 2023 - 2024 Chinese Abstract Art Exhibition in Beijing. His works have been collected by major art museums and institutions.
